KUANTAN, 23 Oktober 2022 – Karnival Bola Sepak 7s Wanita IPT 2022 anjuran Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) menyaksikan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menjadi tuan rumah penganjuran kejohanan yang berlangsung di padang bola sepak Kompleks Sukan UMP Kampus Gambang baru-baru ini.
Sebanyak 11 pasukan mengambil bahagian dalam pertandingan ini yang disertai pasukan Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) Kolej Profesional MARA Beranang (dua pasukan), University College TATI, Sekolah Sukan Malaysia Pahang (dua pasukan), Sekolah Sukan Negeri Melaka dan UMP.
Kejohanan yang berlangsung selama lima hari tu menobatkan Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) selaku juara sulung bagi edisi pertama kejohanan dengan menewaskan Sekolah Sukan Malaysia Pahang A (SSMP) di tempat kedua.
UiTM membawa pulang RM4,000 dan piala manakala SSMP A pula meraih RM3,000 dan hadiah iringan.
Sementara itu, pasukan tempat ketiga, UPNM menerima RM2,000 manakala UPSI di tempat keempat terbaik dan membawa pulang RM1,000.
emenang Anugerah Khas Karnival Bola Sepak 7's Wanita IPT 2022 dimenangi oleh Nur Syafiqah Zainal Abidin (UiTM) yang meledak dua gol dalam perlawanan itu dan muncul sebagai penjaring terbanyak kejohanan dengan 12 gol.
Hadiah disampaikan Naib Canselor UMP, Profesor Dato’ Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin yang turut dihadiri Timbalan Setiausaha Bahagian Seksyen Sukan Bahagian Perancangan Strategik Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT), Dato’ Dr. Pekan Ramli dan Pengarah Pusat Sukan Kebudayaan UMP, Aznorizamin Haji Ismail.

KUANTAN, 28 May 2022 - A Perodua ATIVA sponsored by Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn. Bhd. (PERODUA) for Hole In One became the players’ aim at the 49th Public University Golf Tournament which saw Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) as the host.
A total of 300 golfers from public universities (UA) involved in the 49th Public University Golf Tournament held for two days starting today.
According to the UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, this tournament could invigorate sportsmanship and strengthen the solidarity among the family of the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).
“This golf tournament can also be used as a platform to help the Pahang State Government promote edu-tourism in the state especially to the local golfers,” he said at the 49th Malaysia Inter-University Golf Tournament Dinner at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan.
He appreciated the support of MoHE and PERODUA including the Pahang State Government, Bank Islam, Franky Construction Sdn. Bhd., Meranti Marshal, Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., and Bank Simpanan Nasional.
There were three locations for the tournament at Royal Pahang Golf Club, Kuantan, Royal Pekan Golf Club and Mahkota Golf and Country Club, Kuantan.
The ceremony was also attended by the Chairman of the Human Resources, Youth, Sports and Non-Governmental Bodies Committee of Pahang, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Haji Mohd Johari Haji Hussain.
Also present were the Secretary General of MoHE, Dato’ Seri Abdul Razak Jaafar and UMP Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Abi Musa Asaari Mohamed Nor.
